I originally came up with this recipe while I was VERY pregnant. My feet hurt, my back hurt, and I spent at least two hours in the bath tub the last three months of my pregnancy. Not supposed to do that...whoops! Anyway, this really helped with my swollen, horribly circulated feet. After putting this in the tub and soaking for about a half hour, I not only felt better but my feet looked SO much better. I even added some candles and soap petals to give me that spa-from-home feel. Add whatever you'd like to make you feel more relaxed. If you are pregnant, like I was, and doing this, just be sure to add ingredients to the bath that are safe for your newly sensitive skin. You’ll need: - bubble bath (either a scent you like or no scent at all. I used a rose and berry scent) - milk - honey - light olive oil - vanilla Optional: - foot soak (I mixed a little in because of my feet) Mix everything in a jar or cup. I used a leftover mandarin orange jar. While mixing, just think of the pain or discomfort you’re feeling and washing it away. If you want it bubbly, add more bubble bath. Want it creamier, add more milk and oil. The longer you soak the more you skin will absorb the oil. I also put some lavender Epsom salt into the tub to help with back pain and swelling. You can if you’d like as well. Go about the rest of your pampering regimen as you want. Maybe make a face mask (like these) or put on some music to enjoy.
