I think it's fair to say that the majority of people who get a tarot reading for the first time are nervous.
You heard that you can accidently summon demons with them or get sucked into another dimension. Or the first thing that pops into your mind is one word: scam. What do you mean you're going to see my future? Are you gonna use a crystal ball and steal my blood too? NO! Or course not! But it's a common thought that tarot readings are scams.

When I first was learning tarot, I did a daily draw.
I would draw a card, think about the meaning I intuitively got, and write it down. I'd then compare what answer I had with looked up meanings and ones that were provided with my tarot deck. This was a useful strategy for me...until I started getting the same cards over and over again. Learning tarot this way is an excellent method; however, if you never come across the Nine of Swords until you do a reading for someone else, you're kind of screwed as a reader. So along with my daily draws (the I still do like this), I decided that to truly learn my tarot cards, I had to go through one by one and review the cards I hadn't pulled yet. That's what we're going to start doing today. We're going to go through every card, starting with the Major Arcana, and dissect them intuitively and with the most common meanings I can find for these cards. First off: I originally came up with this recipe while I was VERY pregnant. My feet hurt, my back hurt, and I spent at least two hours in the bath tub the last three months of my pregnancy. Not supposed to do that...whoops!
Anyway, this really helped with my swollen, horribly circulated feet. After putting this in the tub and soaking for about a half hour, I not only felt better but my feet looked SO much better. I even added some candles and soap petals to give me that spa-from-home feel. Add whatever you'd like to make you feel more relaxed. If you are pregnant, like I was, and doing this, just be sure to add ingredients to the bath that are safe for your newly sensitive skin. |
