As apart of this challenge, I have to research or try different methods of the craft and share my results. This was another reason I picked this particular challenge; I get to try new things! Today's new experience will be a with automatic writing. The results are sure to be interesting, especially since I've never done it before. So let's get started! For the record, I'm writing this article as soon as I finished this experience so it's SUPER fresh in my mind. Remember: this is just my personal experience so if you try automatic writing it may turn out completely different for you! For those that don't know, automatic writing can be used as an intuitive practice for those who have claircognizance or other types of psychic ability. It can also be used in communicating with guides and spirits. I have a bit of claircognizance, I have for quite awhile, so I thought this challenge would be interesting to try. Who knows, it might be fun! I followed this handy guide here on how to get started and sat down at my computer. It seemed a bit of an unpopular idea to use a keyboard to do automatic writing; however, I'm incredibly comfortable at the keyboard. I frequently freak people out by typing and not looking at the screen or while holding a conversation. Just years of practice! Anyway, I sat down, turned on my usual rain sounds for meditation, and got started. The meditation part was easy but I wasn't sure what exactly was going to happen. I felt a slight twitching in my fingers but tried to focus on cleansing and grounding my body instead. As I kept focusing on that, I felt a major energy shift. Especially in my head. Have you ever had a moment where you're laying in bed and suddenly the room starts turning and you feel like you're falling? Your eyes are closed, you can feel the stationary bed beneath you, but you're falling somehow. That's how it felt sitting at my computer doing this. My eyes were fluttering behind my eyelids (I always have my eyes closed for meditation), my head was back and felt hot as hell, the room was spinning, and my fingers were twitching away on the keyboard. And these are my results: My Higher Self, what steps can I take to have a happy and successful life with my family? Ommems d slk e;lkankdoe kd ake m lmsa ek esmfn amv ma cmnlsa lmf’s en ,do ejfnvo wndmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmkksmf ew fmml;s ke ;mfeo q lmd em;lms ek v;m skmd e;lp[d em;mpw dmnfw tl; dk;wm dl.s;a e d,le wl d, fe;wm d,fewm;lds. It's fascinating. What's standing out to me at most is the word "We" on the side. My mind keeps screaming at me that by keeping the concept of "we", us as a family, in mind then we'll end up happy wherever we go. I think I may try a hand at this in the future; practice does make perfect and it seems that automatic writing takes quite a bit of practice.
